These works represent the urban and rural world that surrounded me growing up and I have my father to thank for early immersion in the landscape of my childhood. I was never particularly keen on recreating the obvious landmarks or famous places, preferring instead the quietness of the lesser seen, ordinary fields and bushes and walls of stone.
